Julio Acuna

I'm a Croft Instructional Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Mississippi. My research is in applied microeconomics, and it answers questions at the intersection of development and labor economics. By combining empirical methods with stylized models that I directly take to the data, my research aims to understand the causes and consequences of people’s decision to migrate and policy-relevant issues linked to development, corruption, violence, and institutions.
